Installation Instructions
  1. Locate the small hardware bag, located in the large main storage compartment.
  2. Using the included allen wrench, use a 3/8” wrench and install the front drink holder. Rounded heads of the allen bolts should be on the outside of the drink holder, with the 3/8” nuts on the inside. Securely tighten.
  3. Using the included allen wrench, use a 3/8” wrench and install the rear fire extinguisher holder (which can also be used as a drink holder for rear seat passengers).  Rounded heads of the allen bolts should be on the outside of the extinguisher holder, with the 3/8” nuts on the inside of the console.  Securely tighten.
  4. Inside the hardware bag is a small Velcro strap.  This is used on the fire extinguisher holder, and if you have an extinguisher in the holder?  Use this Velcro strap to keep the unit secured.
  5. At the aircraft, the console will be a nice, tight, snug fit between the front two seats.  Lift the front end of the console up toward the headliner of the aircraft.  Using a rearward motion, lower the rear end of the console down in-between the front seats, then push the console back until it is in position.  Note: when taking the console in and out, the console needs to come close to the controls / yokes, to slide in properly.  Use care so that you don’t scratch anything on your panelor your console.
  6. **After the first few flights, IF the console tends to slide forward or backwards, remove the paper backing from the carpet tape we have installed on the bottom of the console.  This sticky tape will not harm your carpet, but will help to keep the console from sliding, if it is doing so.
  7. Locate the cushioned armrest.  While sitting in the pilot seat, adjusted where you would be sitting during normal flight, adjust the armrest into a comfortable position for you.  Make note of the orientation of where the armrest lines up with the console lid.  Using the four (4) enclosed screws and a Phillips head screwdriver, from the underside of the console lid, screw the armrest to the lid using a screw in four corners.
  8. Initial setup is complete!  If you wish to use the RAM mounting system for a phone, iPad, etc., you will notice we have already included the holes for the typical RAM ‘ball mount’ system.
